Bible Time With You has begun!
I've begun teaching at some of the preschools and after school settings in Loudon, McMinn and Knox counties!
Next week, I'll go to three more preschools and two after schools and teach Bible.
Our first Bible story is about the first five days of creation.
We are singing two worship songs, "Mighty God" and "When I Look Up".
Our Bible verse for May and June is Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth".
Our craft is making a paper plate world with crayons.
Each group is very sweet and is excited about learning! The teachers are wonderful to serve along side and I'm so thankful for the time to spend with each group in God's Word!

What are we learning?
Our first lesson was about how God made the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1-23).
To show God made the heaven and the earth, we made a paper plate world.
In our next lesson, we learned how God made man and woman (Genesis 1:24 - 2:25).
We enjoyed drawing people and molding with clay.
In our next lesson, we learned how sin seperated man and woman from God (Genesis 3).
We placed on a cross our sin or something we know is a sin and saw how Jesus' forgiveness removes our wrongdoing (Ephesians 1:7).
In the next lesson, we learned about Cain and Abel. Sin separates us from both God and others (Genesis 4:1-16). We enjoyed center activities that focused on the stories from each week.

July 2026
In the first week of July, we learned about the story of Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24). Enock walked with God for 300 years. We learned that walking with God means that we worship God, pray, read His Word, and obey God. Jesus' teaches us to put our trust in Him as our Lord and Savior. When we do, we can walk with Jesus each day!
For our Bible activities, we played a pattern repeating game and practiced tossing a bean bag "in" a ring, bag or bucket!
We're having fun learning to put our trust "in" Jesus!
For the week of July 13th, the story was on Noah and the ark (Genesis 6:5-9:19).We learned that Noah was a righteous man who followed the Lord. He obeyed the Lord and built an ark just as God told him. The people perished in the flood because the Lord God sent a flood to destroy the wickedness on the earth. But the Lord saved Noah. Just like God saved Noah in the ark, God has made a way for us to be saved from our sin through Jesus Christ our Savior (Romans 6:23). Praise the Lord!
For our activity, we had fun with rainbow colors! God made a promise to never flood the earth again and the rainbow is the sign of His promise (Genesis 9:15-16). Our afterschool groups made a rainbow paper plate craft and our preschool groups pur rainbow colors in order.
This week in Bible, Noah, his family, and the animals safely landed on Mt. Ararat. And when the Lord told him to leave the ark, they walked out on dry ground.
One of the first things Noah did after leaving the ark was to build an altar and worship the Lord God!
There are so many reasons to praise the Lord! God is good! He keeps us safe, He is trustworthy and He is faithful!
For our Bible craft this week, some of our after school groups finished their Noah's ark paper plate craft and our preschool groups enjoyed drawing a rainbow landscape, matching rainbow colors or learning the colors of the rainbow in Spanish.

Our Monthly Bible Verse

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
This week in Bible we had a good Summer review of God's story beginning with how He made the world and us, how sin entered the world, Cain and Abel, Enoch and Noah and the ark.
Because we have learned these stories from God's Word, the kids have learned that God made the world, He made us, He does not like sin, He punishes sin and because of His great love for us...
He has sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, into the world to save us from our sin and have everlasting life through Him (John 3:16).
For an activity, we painted with watercolors, matched rainbow colors and finished our Noah's ark paper plate craft!

August
We had our first week of our fall semester learning groups! We want to welcome our new learning group at Kiddie Kingdom in Lenoir City! Welcome sweet friends!
Everyone is doing well in their new classes! Its amazing how these little ones can grow so fast.
This week we had fun playing with blocks, building our own towers and learning how God changed how everyone spoke and people began to speak different languages at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9).
God can do anything!
The Lord is so good! Its so good to be learning together from God's Word, praying, worshipping and having fun!
Praise You Lord for it all!
