May 2026
Bible Time With You has begun!
I've begun teaching at some of the preschools and after school settings in Loudon, McMinn and Knox counties!
Next week, I'll go to three more preschools and two after schools and teach Bible.
Our first Bible story is about the first five days of creation.
We are singing two worship songs, "Mighty God" and "When I Look Up".
Our Bible verse for May and June is Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth".
Our craft is making a paper plate world with crayons.
Each group is very sweet and is excited about learning! The teachers are wonderful to serve along side and I'm so thankful for the time to spend with each group in God's Word!

What are we learning?
Week of June 1st
Our first lesson was about how God made the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1-23).
To show God made the heaven and the earth, we made a paper plate world.
Week of June 8th
In our next lesson, we learned how God made man and woman (Genesis 1:24 - 2:25).
We enjoyed drawing people and molding with clay.
Week of June 15th
In our next lesson, we learned how sin seperated man and woman from God (Genesis 3).
We placed on a cross our sin or something we know is a sin and saw how Jesus' forgiveness removes our wrongdoing (Ephesians 1:7).
Week of June 22nd
In the next lesson, we learned about Cain and Abel. Sin separates us from both God and others (Genesis 4:1-16). We enjoyed center activities that focused on the stories from each week.

July 2026
Week of July 6th
In the first week of July, we learned about the story of Enoch (Genesis 5:21-24). Enock walked with God for 300 years. We learned that walking with God means that we worship God, pray, read His Word, and obey God. Jesus' teaches us to put our trust in Him as our Lord and Savior. When we do, we can walk with Jesus each day!
For our Bible activities, we played a pattern repeating game and practiced tossing a bean bag "in" a ring, bag or bucket!
We're having fun learning to put our trust "in" Jesus!
Week of July 13th
For the week of July 13th, the story was on Noah and the ark (Genesis 6:5-9:19).We learned that Noah was a righteous man who followed the Lord. He obeyed the Lord and built an ark just as God told him. The people perished in the flood because the Lord God sent a flood to destroy the wickedness on the earth. But the Lord saved Noah. Just like God saved Noah in the ark, God has made a way for us to be saved from our sin through Jesus Christ our Savior (Romans 6:23). Praise the Lord!
For our activity, we had fun with rainbow colors! God made a promise to never flood the earth again and the rainbow is the sign of His promise (Genesis 9:15-16). Our afterschool groups made a rainbow paper plate craft and our preschool groups pur rainbow colors in order.
Week of July 20th
This week in Bible, Noah, his family, and the animals safely landed on Mt. Ararat. And when the Lord told him to leave the ark, they walked out on dry ground.
One of the first things Noah did after leaving the ark was to build an altar and worship the Lord God!
There are so many reasons to praise the Lord! God is good! He keeps us safe, He is trustworthy and He is faithful!
For our Bible craft this week, some of our after school groups finished their Noah's ark paper plate craft and our preschool groups enjoyed drawing a rainbow landscape, matching rainbow colors or learning the colors of the rainbow in Spanish.

Week of July 27th
This week in Bible we had a good Summer review of God's story beginning with how He made the world and us, how sin entered the world, Cain and Abel, Enoch and Noah and the ark.
Because we have learned these stories from God's Word, the kids have learned that God made the world, He made us, He does not like sin, He punishes sin and because of His great love for us...
He has sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, into the world to save us from our sin and have everlasting life through Him (John 3:16).
For an activity, we painted with watercolors, matched rainbow colors and finished our Noah's ark paper plate craft!

August
Week of August 24th
We had our first week of our fall semester learning groups! We want to welcome our new learning group at Kiddie Kingdom in Lenoir City! Welcome sweet friends!
Everyone is doing well in their new classes! Its amazing how these little ones can grow so fast.
This week we had fun playing with blocks, building our own towers and learning how God changed how everyone spoke and people began to speak different languages at the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9).
God can do anything!
The Lord is so good! Its so good to be learning together from God's Word, praying, worshipping and having fun!
Praise You Lord for it all!
September
Week of August 31st
This week in Bible we learned about Abrahm and how God called him to a land he did not know and promised to make him the father of a great nation (Genesis 12:1-3, 15:1-21, 17:1-9).
God changed his name to Abraham and told him to live in His presence and be holy (Genesus 17:1). God would be His God and his offspring's throughout generations as an everlasting covenant (Genesis 17:7).
God keeps His promises! He is a faithful and loving God!
The kids had fun in Bible making star pictures that are a reminder of God's promise to Abraham. God told Abraham to count the stars of the sky, if he could. Thats as many descendants as Abraham would have in his family!
Some of our groups began learning from the very beginning in Genesis with the story of creation (Genesis 1:1-25).
They enjoy learning that God made the heavens and the world, all the animals, stars, trees....and next week they'll learn how God made them!
We had fun passing around a balloon in the shape of the world. We sang "He's got the whole world in His hands" while we passed the balloon around the circle. They had a great time!
Week of September 7th
In our next story, we learned about the test God how God tested Abraham with his son, his only son, Isaac. (Genesis 22:1-19). God uses tests to show us what's in our hearts. As the psalmist says, Lord "Examine me,
O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. (Psalm 26:2).
We can trust the Lord that all things He does is for our good! He loves us!
And then we had our own test: we tested some items to see which would sink or float. Pretty neat! The results (drumroll....) all the items floated but one, the rock. Science is pretty cool stuff! We like it!
Our new learning groups started with creation last week and this week we continued in Genesis learning how God made man and woman and how God created marriage between a man and a woman (Genesis 2). The kids like to learn that God made them! Once they know that and they begin to learn that God loves them....you can't hold them back! They shout it from the rooftops who has made them and loves them!
For an activity, we passed around creation items for days of creation #1-6. Each group did a great job taking turns and passing around each item. We are growing in the Lord!
Week of September 14th
P - R - O - M - I - S - E
What's that spell?
Promise!
God always keeps His promise! That means He's trustworthy and faithful!
This week we learned in the Bible how God made the same promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 15:5, 26:2-5, 28:13-14) and how He kept that promise. The promise was fulfilled in the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross (1 Peter 2:24).
For those who trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we become apart of the family of Abraham by faith (Galatians 3:29). Those who are counted as children of Abraham are as many as the stars of the sky and the dust of the earth. Impossible to count but only through God's Son Jesus is it made possible to have life eternal and become an heir to the throne of God (Romans 8:16-17).
For our activity, we spelled the word "Promise". We have alot of friends who know alot of letters!
That was some good learning friends!
A few of our learning groups learned about how sin came into the world (Genesis 3). Through the sin of one man in the garden now all sin. But through the Son of God, by faith and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we can have forgiveness for our sin and live with Him forevermore (Ephesians 1:7, Romans 6:23)!
For our activity, we sorted fruits and vegetables! We had a great time taking turns, picking one fruit or vegetable to sort and putting it in the basket. Learning is fun together!
Week of September 21st
We had a sweet lesson this week on spending time with Jesus. In Matthew 19:13-15, we learned how Jesus made sure that the little ones also got to spend time with Him.
The little ones are important to Jesus!
No matter how old we are Jesus loves to spend time with us!
After the lesson, we learned how a person grows from a baby to a senior.
We also spent time putting a puzzle together.
Jesus wants us to know He's with us all throughout the day, during play, learning times, even when we're sleeping and eating.
Remember Jesus is with you and loves you always (Matthew 28:20, John 15:9)!
Week of September 28th
What did we do in Bible this week?
We set the table!
My goodness, now that was fun! If any mommas or daddy's need help getting the table ready for dinner, yall have someone ready and willing to help you!
Our Bible story was over Jacob and Esau, Isaac's two sons (Genesis 25:19-33 and 27:1-45). Esau sold his birthright for some stew Jacob was cooking and Jacob deceived his father Isaac to get Esau's blessing. My goodness! Jacob made some pretty poor choices and so did Esau.
Thank goodness for God's mercy! He forgives us when we confess, repent and ask for forgiveness (1 John 1:9). Jesus is faithful and just to forgive us each time we come to Him.
Now that's amazing love!
We also learned about how Cain and Abel offered their offerings to the Lord and Abel's offering pleased the Lord (Genesis 4:1-16). Cain's offering wasn't pleasing to the Lord and Cain disobeyed God and hurt his brother Abel.
God teaches us that He does not like sin and punishes His children when we do because He loves us. God's love for us is perfect and does not change even when we sin. We can trust that God will always teach us right from wrong and forgive us when we confess to Him (Hebrews 12:5-7, 1 John 1:9).
For an activity, we picked out our favorite fruit or vegetable and offered it to the Lord. We can begin learning early that being a cheerful giver means that we receive God's wonderful blessings (2 Corinthians 9:7-8).
October
Week of October 5th
Ever wanted to change your name?
Well, God changed Jacob's name! He changed his name to Israel!
We learned this week God changed Jacob's name to Israel and Easu forgave his brother (Genesis 32-33).
Wow! Only with God is it possible to forgive someone who has wronged you like how Esau forgave Jacob.
God's mercy is great towards us! We see that in the life of Jacob. Because Esau forgave him, Jacob could be reunited with his brother again.
Only through a saving relationship with Jesus, can we forgive others and walk as a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) with a new name in Christ (Revelation 2:17).
Great is His mercy towards us!
For an activity, we played with a play-doh! Everybody loves play-hoh and when you pair that with letter cutters, oh my goodness! You've got a play-doh party!!
Some of our friends learned about Enoch (Genesis 5:18-24). Enoch walked with God and then he was not because took him. How do we walk with God? We pray, read God's Word, worship and obey!
For an activity, we had some fun putting puzzles together. It was a challenge! And we learned that working together takes being patient. It was a great way to "walk with Jesus" as we chose to help each other and take turns. Good job friends!
